Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

None. MindCache does not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information. The app has no backend server, no database of users, and no analytics SDK.

All data you enter into the app — your ideas, category preferences, reminder settings, and theme choices — is stored locally on your device using your device's built-in storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use the backup export feature.

2. Local data storage

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

Your idea content and associated categories
App settings (theme, reminder time, custom categories)
Premium purchase status (cached locally for offline use)

You can delete all this data at any time by uninstalling the app.

3. In-app purchases

MindCache Pro is available as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. All purchase transactions are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive, process, or store any payment or billing information. Apple's privacy policy applies to all purchase transactions: apple.com/legal/privacy.

The only thing we receive is a confirmation of whether the purchase was successful, which is used to unlock Pro features on your device.

4. Notifications

If you enable the daily reminder, MindCache uses iOS's local notifications to deliver the reminder at your chosen time. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on-device. No notification data is sent to any server.

5. Third-party services

MindCache does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. The only third-party component used is Apple's StoreKit framework for in-app purchases.

6. Data backups

MindCache includes an optional manual backup feature that exports your ideas as a JSON file. This export is initiated solely by you and is saved to your device or a location of your choosing (e.g. Files app, iCloud Drive). We do not receive this file or have access to it in any way.

Your device's default iCloud backup may include MindCache's local database as part of the standard iOS backup. This is controlled by your iOS settings, not by MindCache.

7. Children's privacy

MindCache does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since we collect no data at all, the app is safe for users of all ages.

8. Changes to this policy

If we ever change this privacy policy in a meaningful way (for example, if a future version adds analytics), we will update the date at the top of this page and note the change in the App Store release notes.
